bellflur's music builds on the atmospheric sounds that bands like God Speed You! Black Empror and Sigur Ros have set forth. They mix this aesthetic with a taste of electronic experimentation in the Portishead tradition. Strongly stemming from the bass and keyboards, their keen sense of melody is one of their greatest strengths, and their incorporation of it into their overall atmospheric ambiently cinematic sound sets them apart from other indie groups.
