Based in Greece, originally from France, travelled around the world, Gautier is a child of this world with ears plentiful of great music. Yet his choice relies in rock and the paths of artists and bands such as Jeff Buckley, Eddie Vedder, Editors, Kings of Leon, Coldplay. Gautier’s music is as intriguing as his name. His debut album “Babylon” is rich in melodies, his voice is powerful and his lyrics speak of truth. His songs are sincere and this reflects to the entity of the album. “Babylon” includes 10 songs among which the hit song “Home” that enjoyed wide airplay during the past months and is appreciated by both rock fans and wider audiences. Gautier’s recent success brought him to Greece’s biggest rock fest – Rockwave Festival 2013- to play alongside the artists Lana Del Rey, Echo & The Bunnymen and The Subways. In a style that balances between folk/rock, with ballads that evolve to explosive anthems and a highly expressive voice, Gautier’s first album marks the arrival of a young artist with bold intentions for “the best is yet to come” as he says.
