B4EM (an acronym of Before EMOTIONS) is the second release project of 2026 following up Nine’s 2025 second studio album, FOR NOTHING. During December 2025 and January 2026, Nine would mention the EP frequently via X as well as partially posting the tracklist through his alternate Instagram account, whyamiemotional. On January 23rd, 2026, a Pre-Save link would appear via Nine’s main Instagram account with a release date set to February 1st. Despite the Pre-Save link having the release date set to February 1st, several news reporting accounts like Kurrco, Rolling Loud, and more would confirm the EP would release on January 30th. Nine would delay the EP once again now to January 31st, but it would end up surfacing online on January 30th.
