Are Alright is the true "Pet Sounds" coming of age for The Lampshades. Released five years into the band's history post-hiatus, the band engaged Pittsburgh-based producer Dane Adelman (who would later join the band on drums and production) to revisit the long-postponed project and inject the final doses of power-pop remedy the wrap up a spectacular Pennsylvania classic. Filled with brilliant harmonies, cutting synths, and catchy hooks and choruses, Are Alright remains a fondly remembered Lampshades album to this day.
