The lyrics here are in the ancient Hellenic language, Orfni the female vocalist did research and learned the language. From the album notes: "Arai" means "curses" in Ancient Hellenic language and after years of study finally we had the material to continue and spread it to mankind. This wouldn't have happened without the help of my dark soul mate Orfni which she adjusted the lyrics in the original Latin, English and French. Ancient Hellenic constitutes a branch of the Indo-European language family. The ancient language that might have been most closely related to it, ancient Macedonian (either an ancient Greek dialect or a separate Hellenic language) and Phrygian, are not documented well enough to permit detailed comparison. --Therthonax 2004 I don't know why they never used ancient hellenic in another song after this album.
