London synth duo SHiiVERS rise to the occasion with the ferociously metallic “Animalism,” which glistens in the sunlight with Nintendo blips and bloops. “I really hope this is a face,” lead singer Clara begs of the overwhelming frigid temperatures provoked by online social life. She shivers, pun intended, all the way down to her bones, clattering and banging in the joints. But there’s also a remarkable trace of warmth to their observations.
