Oak Is Keeping is a rock band that hails from Austin, Texas. They formed in 2007 and released Animal Style in the summer of 2009. Animal Style is an impressive collection of pummeling rock songs, chock-full of irresistible melodies, layered vocals, and standout guitar wizardry. They have been compared to a three-headed hydra monster composed of Black Sabbath, The Beatles and Queens of the Stone Age. In July of 2009, Oak Is Keeping was named one of the the country's top 10 unsigned bands...A title that received them accolades from all over the world, from Russia to Paris, Texas. Oak Is keeping will continue to tour well into 2010 in support of Animal Style. The boys have plans on releasing their sophomore effort late 2010, early 2011.
