Angelic 7 serves as SoFaygo’s fifth extended-play, executive produced by New York artist, Lil Tecca. On August 2, 2019, Tecca previewed the lead single “Knock Knock” via his Twitter, announcing their plans for the collaboration. He captioned the Twitter post: "faygo droppin a tape produced by all me y’all hurd" Two days later on August 4, 2019, Faygo released the lead single to the EP, titled “Knock Knock.” On September 27, 2019, Faygo partially showcased the tracklist for the EP via his Twitter, having two out of the seven songs hidden—also including “Count Me Out,” however, the track did not make the final cut. On January 8, 2020, two days subsequent to the release of Angelic 7, Faygo released the second single “Hearse,” which also serves as the one of two tracks remaining track upon Faygo’s SoundCloud—alongside “Knock Knock”—as all other tracks were deleted within the late months of 2020.
