Always is the second studio album by American R&B singer Pebbles, released on September 11, 1990, through MCA Records. The album follows her 1987 self-titled debut and continues her blend of R&B, pop, and new jack swing influences, while leaning more toward polished, radio-friendly production typical of the early 1990s. The album features songwriting and production contributions from notable figures in contemporary R&B at the time, including Babyface, who also appears as a featured artist on the duet “Love Makes Things Happen.” Other notable tracks include “Giving You the Benefit” and “Backyard,” both of which were released as singles and received attention on R&B and pop charts.
