Released September 2009. A person with Agoraphobia often finds himself experiencing the same cycle of emotions over and over again while struggling with his mental illness. Agoraphobe explores this cycle, interpreting each phase through stripped-down, abstract music. "HotHouse" sets the stage, introducing the banal discomfort the central character feels in his home. "Ringer" depicts his profound loneliness and hopelessness for his state. "Deaf-Mute" encompasses his dread and terror of an unseen threat in an unfamiliar space. And finally "Sanction" tells of the inevitable return to the safe but unfulfilling sanctuary of his home. Agoraphobe presents a simpler, stripped-down version of Neurosyne. Each track pairs a nonelectronic instrument with a synthesized backdrop. Simple melodies progress the story of the Agoraphobe as he experiences each phase of the emotional cycle.
