Write: Rafael Valdizán: If making music in Peru is like sailing against the current, imagine what it is like to embark on a progressive rock project. It is equivalent to fighting against huge windmills. Fortunately, there are people here who still breathe art and are passionate about putting plans into motion that, a priori, may seem impossible. Music is capable of moving everything. And this has happened with Actitud Modulada, a Peruvian supergroup that has just given birth to its first child, an album that bears the same name as the band, and I say supergroup because, indeed, it is. Its members come from various groups and solo careers, which already gives the ensemble a definite plus. Precisely, with tremendous people, this first album could not go wrong. There was no way. At the helm, Daniel López Gutiérrez: keyboardist who has played in bands such as Kharmina Burana, Hombre de Lata, Flor de Loto, among others. There are also two musicians from Frágil: Octavio Castillo and Jorge Durand. Along with them, Alejandro Susti, a long-standing singer-songwriter and prolific writer; Diego Sue, bassist who also played in Kharmina Burana and current member of La Specie, Curiosity and Mandamás; José Palacios Cussianovich, guitarist for the jazz funk band Strecht it to the Limit and the jazz trio 702 Banana Cake; and Dante Oliveros, renowned percussionist from La Sarita. With such a flowery background, a proposal that integrated a wide range of elements was to be expected. And so
