Have you ever wondered what a nervous breakdown sounds like? This record is where everything went to shit. I got too wrapped up in booze and pills and completely isolated myself and single-handedly wrecked my life for a number of months, here. I wasn't myself. I lost a lot of people and made a lot of poor, wretched decisions and definitely lost it for a bit, there. If it wasn't for a very few people, I don't think I would have made it through this period. I'm amazed I managed to finish this record, and I couldn't be more proud of the final product. Chris Garcia came back through on the album art and photography and I am forever grateful to him for what he did. Big ups to Shelly Robinson on coming through and doing spoken word on the Intro track, as well. I can't ever thank her enough for that, as well as all of her emotional support in this period and all she did to get me through it. Equal respect to Matt McClure for all he did to me in this period.
