The extra "s" is for similarities, it seems, as the Vancouver group with the odd name does its best to ape the likes of Incubus and other rock acts dipping into the hip-hop world of samples, rapped vocals, and songwriting that emphasizes big choruses over actual songs. It's a successful formula, but aside from having been done, it's been done better. Unfortunately, nothing on A Wish This Simple manages to be memorable enough to make an impact.
