The first album released by Somewhere Beyond Echoes in November, 2008. Recorded over the course of a year between South Louisiana, Nashville, TN and the Pacific Northwest by Zack Allen and Matthew Phelan at Dark Horse Recording and Phelan's home studio. Contributors on the album included Miles McPherson on drums and Mike Carr on bass. The music on the album was based on the first 8 songs Phelan wrote instrumentally in 1999, reworked and parts re-written between 2006-2008 leading up to the recording of the record. In 1999 John Tomaske had begun writing lyrics and vocals for the original demos of the arrangements. In 2008 he revisited those writings and vocals, and re-wrote them along with the newly re-written instrumentals.
