"6X" is the third EP by Argentinian singer Six Sex. “It's the first time I've made music so far from home,” Six Sex commented in a post via Instagram about their third EP, 6X. This EP also becomes the first time that Six Sex moves away from sound production to focus on the lyrical, simultaneously; For the first time she incorporates collaborations with other artists into her catalogue, with her being the protagonist. In 6X, Six Sex redefines her proposal by seeking to create an atmosphere more focused on “perreo”, with lyrics that express feminine authority and illicit nights. What started as her first trip and show in Mexico in November 2022 transformed into impromptu recording sessions with various local producers. The experience flowed naturally thanks to the presence of her managers and close friends, as Six Sex reveals in an interview for ACERO. Upon returning to Argentina, she brought with her five new tracks, forged in collaboration with talented Mexican producers, culminating the project with her usual collaborators in her home country. The lead single, “REBOTA”, produced by Alu Mix, was released on April 20, 2023, offering a glimpse into the new era of Six Sex. “UNA GATA”, with El Osito Wito and production by Ghetto Kids, was released on June 6 with its official video.
