4 songs is the debut ep from Orange County Noise Rock band, Washed Up released on January 20th 2023. on New Years of 2022 the bandmates got together in the drummers (Aron) room and recorded a demo track of "Car Crash Anthem". The Demo released January 1st of 2023 and the recording process for the ep had begun on January 6th and ended on the 17th of the same month The band set up shop inside the Guitarist's (Garrison) garage and with the help from their friend Jack to supply microphones and tune the drums. the instrumentals were all recorded as well as a casstte only bonus jam track. the vocalist/bassist (Collin) would record the vocals at home. one of the tracks from the recording sessions would be left off the ep as it was not a complete track for the band. Aron would mix and master the whole project and create maxell tapes for the ep for their release show with O.K Mom on the 21st of January. 6 tapes were made and all of them were sold at the release show. Before the ep was released, the cover was supposed to be a photograph of a child crying over a dropped ice cream with the band posing beside the child.
