The recording of Maciek Polak, widely known as an owner of the company called “analogia.pl” that specializes in renovating and servicing analogue synths, as well as a part of Pin Park duo. The music was made using only the legendary AKS Synthi as well as a multitrack tape recorder. The limited cassette run of 200 (in four colours - black, blue, yellow and red) premieres exactly fifty years after the first documented shipment of AKS Synthi. The date of 15th May 1972 has been indicated by Robin Wood himself, the owner of EMS, who also said that he is happy to give this record his approval. 1972 was also a year when the Olympic Games in Munich were held and a clear reference to sports, that this recording has, is not purely accidental. Maciek, as a marathonist, can draw many similarities between physical exercise and the creative process. Both require concentration and devotion to reach the goal. The Olympics in Munich were also a direct inspiration for the cover, designed by Matylda Bruniecka. It’s an homage to the design of that era.
