148 is the sixth major full-length album by C418. It features a variety of remixes and live edits, some of which had previously appeared on other artists' albums, and several original tracks featuring vocals. The album is a revisitation of his earlier progressive house styles mixed with new ventures into synthpop. Though completed in mid 2015, it was delayed by almost half a year to create an interactive digital experience that would complement it. This idea was eventually shelved, and the album saw a low-key release on December 18, 2015. Despite the minimal amount of marketing and Daniel's personal disdain for the album, it is one of his most popular releases outside of the Minecraft volumes. 148 has also been the subject of heavy intrigue and analysis due to its cryptic lyrics, repetition of numbers, and multiple scrapped elements.
