11th Dimension is Ski Mask the Slump God’s long-awaited June 2024 sophomore studio album, succeeding his 2018 debut, STOKELEY. As emphasized in an interview with Complex Magazine, this album is told through the lens of multiple different characters that embody Ski Mask in different dimensions. According to Ski, 11th Dimension is “collecting all those pieces to feel whole again.” 11th Dimension explores a variety of genres, ranging from Ski’s signature moshpit style to alternative rock cuts. Based on the trailers released for the album, there are at least four separate characters Ski speaks through: The first trailer’s character ponders on the grief holding Ski back, symbolized with straight jacket attire. The second trailer features a reflective character who writes “Let It Breathe” as well as a purely rage-minted one, covered in a mask, that raps “Part The Sea.” The final known character is seen in the final trailer, who is the signature witty-worded Ski with a braggadocious attitude that delivers “Earwax.” With the collection of all different dimensions of Ski, he’s able to tread onward past the grief of XXXTENTACION and Juice WRLD and start from a blank slate.
